The Asheville Practical Shooting Association was formed in the early 1980's and then incorporated in 1991. APSA was the first club in North Carolina to become a USPSA affiliated club.

Over the years, we have seen many changes and relocated our shooting location a number of times; from shooting in a cow pasture in Burnsville, NC to a more refined range in Lake Lure, then back to the Burnsville/Green Mountain area and our new home at Triggers, Traps & Trout.

Currently, we are shooting at the new location on the second Saturday of every month; but always check the EVENTS TAB for up to date information on our matches.
